对于这场欧冠决赛的胜负预测，埃梅里给出了“五五开”的答案。他认为两队都配得上进入决赛，也代表了本赛季欧洲足球的最高水平。

此外，埃梅里还讨论了西班牙教练在近年欧洲足球界的成功。他认为，无论是恩里克还是阿尔特塔，都有一个共同点——将整个人生都投入到了足球中。“他们的一切都围绕着足球。”在被问及为何自己也能取得成功时，埃梅里谦虚地表示：“我只是运气好。”

事实上，埃梅里自己刚刚带领阿斯顿维拉完成了历史性的赛季，不仅赢得了欧联杯冠军，还帮助球队跻身英超前列。然而在他看来，维拉目前仍处于成长阶段，球队的目标就是不断进步，并持续与欧洲最强的球队竞争。
